Under a cooperation agreement between the two companies, directly related to the project Costanera Center, ABB trained Fleischmann, at its Vaasa plant in Finland, on the use of protection and control systems under IEC-61850 protocol. This training covered topics such as: advantages of IEC-61850 protocol, ABB- RELION 630 and 615 protection systems, Substation Automation under ABB-COM600, and Network Automation among others.
